Adele Takes Acting Lessons as She Prepares for a Career Shift After Announcing 'Incredibly Long' Break from Music.

After completing her highly successful residency in Munich, Adele has revealed plans to take an "incredibly long" break from music. The Grammy-winning artist, known for her emotional ballads and powerhouse voice, has been tight-lipped about her next move, but sources indicate that the singer may be preparing for a major career shift—this time, into acting.

Adele, 36, reportedly began taking acting lessons from a top Hollywood coach over a year ago. According to a source, Adele is fully committed to her new endeavor, as she always is when she takes on something new. The "Someone Like You" singer has even directed her team to initiate discussions with major film studios, signaling her readiness to transition from the stage to the screen.

“Adele's been taking intense acting lessons... and she’s serious about this new chapter,” the source said, adding that she's already in talks with producers. However, her natural Cockney accent could potentially limit her acting opportunities, prompting speculation that she may need dialect coaching to expand her role choices.

Despite her pivot to acting, fans of the British superstar need not worry—Adele will return to music at some point. Another insider revealed that when she does make her comeback, it might involve a performance at the Super Bowl. "Everyone will know about it when she’s ready," they teased.

This isn’t the first time Adele has expressed interest in acting. In a 2023 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, she mentioned a particular film project she was eager to be involved in, although the writer has yet to complete the script. "I think I'd nail it," she said, revealing her confidence in her acting abilities.

However, Adele has turned down multiple offers to portray singers in biopics, citing concerns about the roles being "too obvious" and the pressure of portraying such iconic figures. She also expressed apprehension about singing in those films, fearing her voice would make the performance seem inauthentic.

As for her future, Adele is focusing on more than just her career. She has hinted at plans to relocate back to the UK, where she owns a luxury apartment in London. Her decision to return home is reportedly tied to her desire to raise her 10-year-old son, Angelo, there.

In a recent radio interview, Adele spoke about wanting to spend more time with family and pursue other creative projects after her residency. "I want a big break after this... I don’t have any plans for new music at all," she said, reiterating her desire to focus on non-musical endeavors for the foreseeable future.

Fans eagerly await Adele’s next move, whether it be on the big screen or her inevitable return to the music industry. Until then, the world will watch as she embarks on this exciting new chapter.
