Katie Price Promises to Attend Court as Judge Orders No Travel Amid Bankruptcy Case.

Katie Price, the former glamour model and reality TV star, has promised to attend a court hearing later this month after a judge sternly instructed her to remain in the UK and refrain from traveling abroad. The 46-year-old arrived at the Royal Courts of Justice in London today, visibly bandaged and covering her face following a recent facelift surgery.

Deputy Insolvency and Companies Court Judge Daniel Schaffer has mandated that Price must attend a crucial bankruptcy hearing on August 27 at 10:30 AM, with no excuses allowed. "You have to attend that date, no ifs or buts, no going abroad, no holidays," Judge Schaffer stated. Price confirmed her understanding of the order, stating, "I will move my diary for it."

This latest development follows Price’s arrest at Heathrow Airport last night due to her failure to attend a previous bankruptcy hearing. Price was detained upon her return from Turkey, where she had undergone a £10,000 facelift at the Trio Clinic in Istanbul. After a brief stint in custody, she was released on bail by an out-of-hours magistrate.

Price's court appearance today was marked by her head being wrapped in bandages and black tape, a result of her sixth facelift. Despite her appearance, she made her way to court on foot, dressed in a beige outfit and a black head covering.

The arrest warrant against Price was issued on July 30 by a different judge after she missed a previous court session related to her substantial £760,000 debt. Price had claimed she was abroad filming a documentary on corrective surgeries during the court proceedings. In a now-deleted Instagram post, she expressed her concern about the impact of the arrest on her son, Harvey, and criticized the court's decision. "I do hope... they will allow some dignity and protection for at least his sake as this will be extremely disturbing for him to see," she wrote.

Photographs from the night of her arrest depict Price being led away by police with her son Harvey and boyfriend JJ Slater in tow. Harvey, who was seen in a wheelchair, observed his mother’s arrest, while Slater managed her luggage. Despite her distressing situation, Price was later seen sitting on the edge of a police van, applying lipstick and using a vape.

Price, who resides in Sussex, had previously missed a court hearing on July 30 due to her trip to Turkey, where she stayed at a £133-per-night five-star hotel while undergoing cosmetic surgery. Despite acknowledging the seriousness of her financial issues, Price claimed in a statement that her bankruptcy was a result of mental health struggles and PTSD. She has previously been declared bankrupt twice, with her first bankruptcy occurring in 2019.

In her recent Instagram statement, Price defended her actions and expressed frustration with media coverage. She claimed that her trip to Turkey was for work related to her documentary and emphasized that she was not trying to evade her legal responsibilities. Price reiterated her commitment to addressing her financial issues and taking care of her family. "Despite consistent stories trying to humiliate me on my personal misfortunes, I am neither embarrassed nor ashamed," she stated.

Judge Burton, who issued the initial arrest warrant, criticized Price for failing to attend the hearing and for providing insufficient information regarding her bankruptcies. The judge noted that Price had only offered "piecemeal co-operation" and emphasized that an arrest warrant was issued only after considering her non-compliance.

In addition to her legal troubles, Price has faced significant personal challenges, including the repossession of her £2 million home and an eviction notice from her previous residence, known as the "Mucky Mansion." She has since moved into a new Tudor-style property costing £5,000 per month.

Price’s recent cosmetic procedures included both a facelift and dental work, which she documented on Instagram. She has defended her choice of the Trio Clinic, citing positive feedback from friends and her belief in the clinic’s expertise.

As Katie Price navigates her ongoing legal and personal challenges, she remains under the scrutiny of both the courts and the media. Her commitment to attending the upcoming hearing and addressing her financial obligations will be closely monitored as she attempts to resolve her bankruptcy issues and move forward with her life.
