In recent months, scores of influencers have made a splash by flaunting their figures in the sexy swimmer.

Models including Magdalena Keškić and Andrea Garcia have embraced the trend.

Both ladies wore the Catch Me Out West Denim Sunsuit by Fashion Nova,  which is currently priced at £35 in the sale.

The set comes with a triangle top, chain detailing, stylish buttons and bottoms with a thong fit.

But there's just one problems with the two-piece... you can't actually wear it in water.

Wet denim is never a comfortable feeling.

So it comes as no surprise that the bikinis aren't very practical in reality.

The Fashion Nova website explains: "Recommended for pool side use – not water resistant".

Yikes, not ideal!

This doesn't seem to have put shoppers off the swimwear though – and they could probably still rock it at pool parties, festivals or sunbathing sessions.

As well as generating a lot of hype on Instagram, the product has a 4.7/5 star rating on the Fashion Nova website.

One happy customer gushed: "Attention grabber. Wore this to Coachella and received so many compliments. It fit very well top and bottom."

Another said: "In love. So perfect and beautiful."

And a third added: "Super sexy. Fits perfectly, fabric is good quality and finishing is great."
