In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Prince Emanuele described his daughter as a "rock 'n' roll princess" and expressed his delight in stepping down, confident that Vittoria will surpass his abilities. He emphasized the importance of younger generations introducing fresh and modern ideas into the monarchy. The prince also noted that his decision prevents Vittoria from enduring a lengthy wait to inherit the throne, citing the example of King Charles, who spent decades as the British heir.

While Italy abolished its monarchy through a referendum in 1946, the House of Savoy, to which Emanuele and Vittoria belong, has maintained hope for a potential restoration. The House of Savoy has a rich history dating back to 1003 and was Italy's ruling family until the monarchy's abolition. Prince Vittorio Emanuele of Naples, aged 86 and Vittoria's grandfather, is the current pretender to the throne. The family draws inspiration from Spain, where the monarchy was reinstated after the death of Franco in 1975. Spain's King, Felipe VI, is the son of King Juan Carlos, who led the country's transition to democracy.

Despite limited support for reinstating the monarchy in Italy, Prince Emanuele believes that there is still a need for one. He stated, "In times of crisis, people see a strong, almost spiritual presence in kings and queens." Last year, the Savoy family modified ancient customs known as the Salic Law to allow Vittoria to inherit the throne, overturning the previous male-only succession rule. Prince Emanuele commented, "In a few years' time, there will be more queens than kings in Europe," highlighting the growing recognition of women's intelligence and sensitivity as qualities that make them great leaders.

Vittoria, who attended the private École Diagonale in Paris, showcases her passion for art and fashion on her social media platforms. Despite acknowledging that Italy may not be ready to accept her as queen or the head of her family, Vittoria remains optimistic about the country's progress. She divides her time between Geneva, Monte Carlo, and an Italian farmhouse owned by her family in Umbertide, Umbria.

As Vittoria prepares to assume the role of future queen, her parents shower her with pride and affection on special occasions. Prince Emanuele shared a heartfelt message on her 18th birthday, expressing his hopes for her dreams to come true and emphasizing his unwavering love. Vittoria's mother, Clotilde Courau, a French actress known for her role in the film La Vie En Rose, also posted a picture of them dressed in matching designer outfits, celebrating her daughter's bravery, strong character, intelligence, and sensitivity. The young influencer remains dedicated to her studies and pursuits while eagerly anticipating the day she may ascend the throne.
