Miles Teller's $7.5M Pacific Palisades Home Destroyed in Devastating LA Wildfire.

Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh Sperry Teller are among the latest celebrities to lose their homes in the catastrophic wildfires ravaging Southern California, specifically in the Pacific Palisades area. The couple’s $7.5 million home was reduced to rubble as the fast-moving fire consumed large parts of the neighborhood, including luxury estates owned by several high-profile figures.

The 37-year-old Top Gun star and his wife, who bought the 6,600 square foot Cape Cod-style villa in April 2023, were among over 30,000 residents forced to evacuate. The home, which was built in 2015, had five bedrooms, seven bathrooms, and three stories, offering panoramic views of the Pacific Palisades Bluffs and Palisades Village. The Tellers had paid $7.5 million for the property, which was just one of many homes destroyed by the blaze.

The Pacific Palisades fire broke out on Tuesday morning amid high winds and a prolonged drought in the region, which has not seen significant rainfall in eight months. As the fire spread at an alarming rate—advancing at the speed of three football fields per minute—residents fled, often with only their pets and the clothes on their backs. Many left their luxury vehicles abandoned on Sunset Boulevard, which became clogged with traffic as residents rushed to safety on foot.

The flames also tore through beachside properties along Pacific Coast Highway, burning homes to the ground. The Getty Villa, a nearby museum, was also threatened but managed to survive, with officials confirming that all of the art and artifacts inside remained unharmed.

As of Wednesday, the fire was still burning uncontrollably, and the death toll had reached five, with at least two additional lives lost in the Eaton Fire, another blaze raging in Pasadena. Jamie Lee Curtis, a Pacific Palisades resident, was among those evacuated and expressed uncertainty about the fate of her own home. On Instagram, she shared an emotional update: "My community and possibly my home is on fire. My family is safe. Many of my friends will lose their homes."

Other celebrities who have been impacted by the fires include Ben Affleck, Mandy Moore, Anna Faris, Adam Brody, Leighton Meester, and Spencer Pratt. Affleck, seen driving away from the fire, has a property in the affected area, as does his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Spencer Pratt and his wife Heidi Montag also lost their home, although they were able to evacuate safely with their children before the fire reached their property.

In total, the wildfires have devastated large parts of Los Angeles, with more than 30,000 people evacuated and thousands of homes and businesses destroyed. Celebrities with homes in the Pacific Palisades, such as Reese Witherspoon, Kate Hudson, Goldie Hawn, and Tom Hanks, are anxiously awaiting news about the fate of their properties. Many have expressed support for the firefighters and first responders who are battling the flames in dangerous conditions.

The ongoing crisis has left many residents and celebrities alike grappling with the loss of their homes and the uncertain future of their communities. As the wildfires continue to spread, authorities are urging everyone to stay safe and follow evacuation orders.
