Mom of Two Shares Extraordinary Near-Death Experience After Suffering Two Strokes.

Amber Cavanagh, a 43-year-old psychic medium from Vancouver Island, Canada, experienced a life-altering journey to the "meeting point of heaven" after suffering two strokes in December 2021. Her story, which she shares in her book At the Stroke of Eternity, recounts her harrowing medical ordeal, her near-death experience, and the profound insights she gained from crossing over to the other side.

Amber was living a healthy lifestyle when she suddenly experienced an excruciating migraine while watching a movie with her family. Hours later, she woke up paralyzed on the right side of her body and blind in one eye. In a desperate attempt to call for help, she banged on the wall, alerting her husband, who immediately called for an ambulance.

Doctors discovered that Amber had suffered a stroke and was experiencing uncontrollable brain bleeding. Despite being given a clotting drug with a 50% survival rate, her condition worsened, and she was flown to another hospital for emergency surgery. During this time, Amber was semi-conscious, unable to communicate, but fully aware of her surroundings. She recalls hearing her family say their goodbyes, believing she would not survive the ordeal.

In a surreal twist, as Amber was being transported to the hospital, she felt herself slipping away. She closed her eyes and awoke in what she describes as another dimension, observing her physical body and her grieving family from above. This moment, she says, was not filled with fear, but with overwhelming love and peace.

"I went into what I can only describe as the 'meeting point' of heaven," Amber shares. Surrounded by an incredible garden, she saw her loved ones, past, present, and future, and communicated telepathically with her guides, including her late grandmother. It was here that she was faced with a life-altering decision: remain in this peaceful place or return to her body and endure a difficult recovery.

Despite the allure of the afterlife, Amber chose to return to her family, knowing it wasn't her time to go. When she awoke in the hospital, doctors were amazed by her recovery. Within hours, she was talking and moving, defying expectations that she would need long-term care. Though her recovery was challenging, Amber is grateful for the experience and the perspective it gave her on life, death, and what lies beyond.

Amber's story has captivated many, offering hope and comfort to those grappling with the fear of death.
