Taylor Ward Shines in New Amazon Prime Show After RHOC
Taylor Ward Lands New Amazon Prime Show After 'Real Housewives of Cheshire' Success.

Taylor Ward, who first gained recognition as the teenage daughter of Dawn Ward on The Real Housewives of Cheshire, is now stepping into the limelight on her own terms. Known for her career as a WAG (Wives and Girlfriends of famous athletes) and being married to former Manchester City footballer Riyad Mahrez, Taylor is now embracing a new chapter in her career with the release of the second season of Married to the Game, available on Amazon Prime Video.
While Taylor has already made a name for herself in the public eye, her latest venture signifies a significant shift, as she moves away from being the daughter of a reality TV star to becoming a leading figure in her own right. Married to the Game gives Taylor the opportunity to showcase her unique personality, talents, and experiences, including her journey as a mother and a wife, while balancing her own career and family life.
The Transition from Reality TV to Amazon Prime
For many, transitioning from a reality TV show like The Real Housewives of Cheshire to a streaming series could be a challenge, but for Taylor, it has been a seamless process. Her confidence in front of the camera has only grown since her time on RHOC, and she credits her mother, Dawn Ward, with encouraging her to take the leap into Married to the Game.
In an exclusive interview, Taylor shared, “Mum was one of the people that was like, ‘You really should take the opportunity to do the show,’ as I was really worried about whether I’d get perceived wrong, or if people would take me the wrong way. But she encouraged me to do it and to be myself.”

While Taylor was excited to join the cast, the same couldn’t be said for her mother, Dawn, who makes her first appearance in the series during its second season. “What’s funny is that she’s not used to being the sub-character, she’s used to being the main character,” Taylor explained. “So being on Married To The Game is different for her. Luckily, she’s easy-going and happy to get involved whenever they want her to be, and she’s really enjoyed being on the show with me.”
As the show unfolds, fans can look forward to seeing Taylor and Dawn on-screen together, adding an extra layer of familial dynamics to the series. "She likes watching it all back, and will hold her own screening when it comes out tomorrow," Taylor added, revealing that Dawn has been a major source of support throughout the journey.
A New Chapter: Taylor’s Life Beyond the Show
Now, at 25 years old, Taylor’s life is markedly different from when she was a young teen on The Real Housewives of Cheshire. Not only has she married her footballer husband, Riyad Mahrez, but she’s also become a mother to their daughter, Mila, and a stepmother to Riyad’s two daughters, Inaya and Ayla, from his previous marriage to model Rita Johal.
With the release of Married to the Game, Taylor has had the opportunity to show her followers and viewers how far she’s come in both her personal and professional life. “Everything’s very different now to how it was on Housewives. I’ve moved to Saudi, I’ve got my kids, I’m married. I’ve grown up a lot and I’ve matured a lot,” she explained.
Living in Saudi Arabia with her family has had a significant impact on Taylor, and she’s relished the opportunity to focus on her personal growth while balancing her role as a wife and mother. The transition to a more private and settled lifestyle has allowed Taylor to pursue her career and further establish herself as a role model for young women.

Taylor has taken inspiration from powerful women in the spotlight, including Victoria Beckham and Coleen Rooney, who have successfully balanced their careers with family life. Taylor admires these women not just for being wives of famous men but for their individual achievements and successes.
"Being part of Married to the Game appealed to me because it was about the women, our lives, and careers, and not just being married to a footballer," she shared. “Obviously, that is a massive part of it, but I had my own career before Riyad – and it’s nice to be able to have my own identity, not just that label of ‘wife.’”
The term “WAG” has evolved over the years, and Taylor is proud to be part of this new wave of women who are carving out their own identities and recognition outside of their relationships. She acknowledges that it’s different today than it used to be, and more women are finally receiving the recognition they deserve.
“People like Victoria, Coleen – who I know and love – I don’t look at them and admire them because they’re the wife of someone else, I admire them for what they’ve done in their lives,” she continued.
For Taylor, Married to the Game represents the chance to shine on her own, free from the constraints of her previous identity on The Real Housewives of Cheshire or the label of being a footballer’s wife. The series focuses on the women behind the footballers, highlighting their personal achievements, careers, and passions.
What’s Next for Taylor Ward?
As the second season of Married to the Game continues to air on Prime Video, Taylor Ward’s profile as both a reality TV star and influencer is set to grow even more. She has proven herself to be a multifaceted personality who is not only a supportive wife and mother but also a woman with ambitions, goals, and a unique voice in the entertainment industry. With her own identity continuing to evolve, Taylor’s journey is just beginning, and viewers can expect to see much more from her in the future.
The next chapter in Taylor Ward’s career promises to be filled with exciting opportunities and new challenges, but one thing is for certain – she’s more than ready to take on whatever comes her way.
