BAFTAs After-Party: From Red Carpet Glamour to Garish Getups.

The BAFTAs red carpet dazzled with stunning gowns and impeccable style on Sunday night. However, the after-parties across London told a different story, with many stars swapping their glamorous award show attire for questionable fashion choices, leaving much to be desired in the sartorial stakes. British and international celebrities alike seemed to miss the style memo, opting for brash and garish looks that clashed with the elegance of the evening.

Among the fashion missteps was Laura Whitmore, 39, who attended the Universal Focus Features DWA BAFTA celebration at Maison Estelle. The former Love Island presenter's ensemble consisted of a gaudy red skirt and an ill-fitting nude corset that clashed with her skin tone. Oversized sleeves and a dated lip-shaped purse only added to the mishmash effect, detracting from her usual polished style.

Whitmore wasn't the only one who missed the mark. Even style icon Alexa Chung, 41, known for her effortless street style, surprised onlookers at the British Vogue x GQ BAFTA Fashion & Film Party at Tramp. Chung opted for silky blue pajamas, more appropriate for bedtime than a red carpet event. The model showcased her legs, but the pajama-inspired look, paired with clear vinyl slip-on stilettos, felt underwhelming for the occasion.

Alex Scott, 40, joined by her girlfriend, Jess Glynne, 35, at the same party, took the double denim trend to an extreme. Scott's bizarre deep blue jumpsuit, featuring an awkwardly fitting backless polo neck and flared legs, looked straight out of the 90s. The unflattering cut and fiddly stilettos failed to complement the former Lioness' typically stunning style.

Pop superstar Camila Cabello, 27, braved the chilly 4C February weather in a skimpy, noughties-style rara dress that resembled lingerie at the Netflix BAFTA After Party at The Twenty Two in Mayfair. The red and black number, combined with heavy jewelry and gladiator sandals, seemed more fitting for a Coachella festival than a winter awards show in London.

Game of Thrones alum Maisie Williams, 27, also attended the Vogue GQ Fashion & Film Party at The Royal Festival Hall, sporting a ballerina-inspired black dress with a dropp waist and tutu skirt. With her hair slicked back, Williams' look leaned more towards Black Swan than red carpet chic.

Vera Wang, 75, known for dressing some of the world's biggest stars, made an appearance in a cropped top, shades, and a leather jacket. While showcasing her age-defying figure, the designer's bold monochrome ensemble felt oddly paired with the sunglasses and jacket.

Earlier in the evening, AJ Odudu, 37, joined the ranks of the worst-dressed on the official red carpet, channeling Kylie Minogue's 2001 "Can't Get You Out Of My Head" look—a style that has since become a Halloween costume staple. Clara Paget opted for unusual headwear with a white silk headwrap and kaftan, while Hannah Dodd made a questionable choice by adding a golden beaded statement belt to an otherwise sleek black gown. Molly-Mae Hague also experienced a red carpet miss in a fussy suit dress. David Tennant's sparkling suit had a wizard-like quality, while Gwendoline Christie, 46, appeared to embrace a Halloween theme with a black gothic gown featuring oversized shoulder pads and satin strips. Isabella Rossellini, 72, also turned heads in an outlandish floral coat dress with clashing leopard print trim. Russian model Tatiana Korsakova, 42, wore a strange semi-sheer black gown with a dramatic blue stain on the skirt.

The EE BAFTA 2025 Awards celebrated the year's best films and the creative talent behind them. Mikey Madison and Adrien Brody won Best Actor and Actress, while Conclave and The Brutalist led the pack with four awards each. The ceremony, hosted by David Tennant, featured guest presenters and celebrated achievements in various categories. Conclave won Best Film and Outstanding British Film. The Brutalist garnered four awards, including Best Director for Brady Corbet. Adrien Brody delivered a moving tribute to England, while Edward Berger spoke about the importance of film in a time of crisis for democracy. Anora, an independent film, won Best Actress for Mikey Madison and Best Casting. Zoe Saldana's Best Supporting Actress win for Emilia Perez was marked by an emotional, expletive-laden speech.
