Amanda Holden Dazzles in Pink Corset Dress at BGT Auditions in Blackpool.

Amanda Holden turned heads as she braved the cold in a stunning pale pink corset dress at the Britain’s Got Talent auditions in Blackpool on Saturday. The 53-year-old judge showcased her incredible figure in the stylish outfit, paired with white heels, as she joined fellow judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, and Bruno Tonioli at the Winter Gardens.

BGT Returns After Tragic Postponement

Auditions for the popular ITV talent show were initially postponed in October 2024 following the tragic death of singer Liam Payne, who passed away at age 31 after a fall from a hotel balcony in Argentina. Now, nearly three months later, the auditions have resumed, with the judges warmly greeting fans at the seaside town venue.

While Amanda stunned in her glamorous attire, her co-judges opted for more weather-appropriate outfits. Alesha Dixon, 46, wore a casual green bomber jacket, wide-legged jeans, and white trainers. Simon Cowell stayed cozy in a black padded jacket and brown scarf, completing his look with signature black sunglasses. Bruno Tonioli sported beige chinos, a black cardigan, and a winter coat, smiling in his Aviator shades.

The show’s beloved hosts, Ant and Dec, were also present, delighting fans as they walked the red carpet ahead of the auditions.

Amanda Shares Behind-the-Scenes Spoilers

Speaking on her Heart Breakfast radio show earlier this week, Amanda teased some unusual acts that have already taken to the stage in Blackpool. She revealed a “pole-dancing seagull” and a man playing rubber chickens as highlights, adding humorously that another act performed a song dedicated to Bruno Tonioli while sitting on a giant rooster.

Reflecting on the unique lineup, Amanda joked, “There’s nowhere else on earth you get entertainment like this!”

Simon Cowell’s Tribute to Liam Payne

The show’s return follows a period of mourning after Liam Payne’s passing. Simon Cowell paid a heartfelt tribute to the former One Direction star on Instagram, describing him as “kind, funny, and talented.” Simon recalled their years of collaboration and praised Liam’s love for music and fans.

“Liam, I am truly devastated. Heartbroken. And I feel empty,” Simon wrote. “You never forgot the fans… I watched you spend so much time with people who wanted to meet you. You really cared.”

Simon also shared how Liam’s son, Bear, reminds him of the singer, adding, “He has your smile and that twinkle in his eyes.”

Big Changes for BGT in 2025

This year, Britain’s Got Talent has made a significant change to its audition process. Instead of holding auditions at the iconic London Palladium, all sessions are being hosted in Blackpool.

A source revealed that the enthusiastic audience in Blackpool played a key role in the decision. “The crowd in Blackpool is absolutely brilliant,” the insider said, noting that Simon Cowell personally approved the move to ensure the best possible atmosphere for the show.

While the change has been met with excitement, it may pose challenges for Amanda, who works in London five days a week and now faces a longer commute.

What’s Next for BGT?

The show is set to return this spring, airing every Saturday night, with rumors of a guest appearance by YouTube star KSI adding to the anticipation. Fans can look forward to another season filled with extraordinary talent, heartfelt moments, and Amanda’s signature style on full display.
