Boston Marathon start times: What time does the 2023 race begin?
Generally, the race starts at 9:00 am ET for wheelchair participants, followed by the handcycle division at 9:02 am ET, and the elite women at 9:32 am ET.
The elite men and first wave of runners begin at 10:00 am ET, with subsequent waves starting at intervals after that. The 2023 Boston Marathon is scheduled to be held on Monday, April 17. However, please note that start times are subject to change and participants should check the official Boston Marathon website for the most up-to-date information.
