Chelsea vs Wrexham: Nkunku debut, predicted lineup, confirmed team news and injury latest
Chelsea will be without Wesley Fofana, Reece James and a number of other players for their pre-season friendly against Wrexham on Saturday.
Fofana has been ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery on a serious knee injury. James is also out with illness, while Romelu Lukaku, Hakim Ziyech and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang have remained at Cobham while they seek transfers away.
This means that new manager Mauricio Pochettino will be left picking his first Chelsea line-up from a youthful 29-man squad that features new signings Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson, alongside a host of young talent including Levi Colwill.
It remains to be seen whether Pochettino will opt to play two XIs at the Kenan Memorial Stadium in Chapel Hill, with this the new manager and his side's first game of the summer.
Here is a predicted Chelsea XI for the Wrexham game:
GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga RB: Cesar Azpilicueta CB: Malang Sarr CB: Levi Colwill LB: Ian Maatsen CM: Conor Gallagher CM: Ruben Loftus-Cheek FW: Christian Pulisic FW: Callum Hudson-Odoi FW: Christopher Nkunku
