Dallas, TX - Dallas TikTok Star Camryn Herriage Fights for Life After Hit-and-Run Crash, College Roommate Killed.

A Dallas woman, Camryn Herriage, is fighting for her life after a hit-and-run crash allegedly caused by an 'intoxicated' woman wearing clubbing attire

A young woman, Camryn Herriage (23), is in critical condition at a Dallas hospital following a horrific hit-and-run accident that claimed the life of her college roommate, Fox4 News reported. The incident, which occurred on February 11th, has left the community shaken and Herriage's family pleading for support as she battles for survival.

Tragedy Strikes at Red Light

Herriage and her friends, including her college roommate Sara House (23), were waiting at a red light when their vehicle was struck by a Ford pickup truck. The collision, reported by Fox4 News, triggered a chain reaction crash, causing severe injuries to all passengers. House, tragically, succumbed to her injuries.

Driver Flees Scene, Later Apprehended

Witnesses reported seeing the driver, identified as Carmen Guerrero (27), flee the scene on foot, described as "extremely intoxicated" and wearing "a small black dress and white clubbing shoes" according to an arrest affidavit. Police recovered Guerrero's wallet from the abandoned truck and apprehended her eleven days after the crash. She currently faces charges of manslaughter and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

All of the passengers were rushed to hospital where Herriage has been relying on a ventilator in the ICU for the past month due to life-threatening injuries sustained during the accident

Community Rallies for Herriage

Herriage remains in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a ventilator, her sister Casie Campanello staying by her side. "Literally, a careless act," stated Campanello, "put us in a situation that changed all of our lives. We are very helpless and just stay strong for her, but it's very difficult to see."

Despite the immense hardship, Campanello holds onto hope: "When she came out of her first surgery, the surgeon told us he never saw anyone make it to the hospital with her injury. So she has a purpose."

Remembering Sara House

House, a recent graduate of Texas Tech University, was not only Herriage's roommate but also her close friend. The duo frequently collaborated on TikTok videos, shared on Herriage's account with over 32,000 followers. House, who worked as an executive sales associate assistant at Ralph Lauren, was also a business and marketing graduate with a passion for fitness, competing in bikini competitions.

The woman who allegedly took off was later identified by police as 27-year-old Carmen Guerrero

Outpouring of Support

Herriage, who works at a social media management and branding company, had recently returned to North Texas after graduating in December. The community has come together to offer support for Herriage and her family during this difficult time, with many sharing messages of hope and strength on social media.

This tragic incident serves as a stark reminder of the devastating consequences of drunk driving. As Herriage fights for her life, the community stands united in offering support and prayers for her recovery.
